MEET CARLOS NAVARRO
Before Marvel, the mugshot
From Mugshot to Marvel

Carlos Navarro is a multi-talented actor known for his roles in some of entertainment’s biggest cultural phenomenon, including AMC’s “The Walking Dead,” Netflix’s “Bloodline,” HBO’s “The Outsider,” “Red Dead Redemption II,” “Madden NFL 20,” and Marvel's “Hawkeye” on Disney+. He is also co-host of the #1-rated Orlando talk show “Monsters in the Morning” on iHeartRadio’s Real Radio 104.1.

“I’ve manifested these moments out of the deepest, darkest valleys I was ever at.” (From News 6 Orlando)

But Carlos wasn't always on top. He has overcome a cascade of daunting personal and professional hurdles in his youth — bankruptcy, a very public job firing, self-destructiveness, heavy drinking, fighting, and three mugshots — to climb his way back to where he envisioned his life to be. He did it by self-motivating, doing the work on himself, digging deeper spiritually, and giving up alcohol. When he changed his mindset, his entire life turned around and his career took off.

Now, he’s sharing the “what-worked-for-me” practices, learnings, and methodologies from his “mugshot to Marvel” experiences in the hopes of uplifting and empowering others to do the work and be their best.

Carlos's mantra is "To the top, never stop!" and his journey to becoming a successful radio personality, Marvel actor, mindset coach, and most importantly, devoted husband and father, is a deeply inspiring story of personal and professional transformation, recovery, and redemption filled with lessons and strategies that anyone can use to create the change they want to see in their life.

As a mindset coach, Carlos helps you succeed by sharing what he's learned about striving for the top and navigating the ups and downs of life, both personally or professionally. He works with people one-on-one and in small groups, either virtually or in-person, and speaks at school and business events behind-the-mic and on-stage, using his “mugshot to Marvel” experience as an example of how you can change your life if you are committed to getting focused and putting in the work to get TO THE TOP.

In Central Florida, Carlos gives back to the community by volunteering for a variety of organizations. He has served on the Deland Little League Board of Directors, as well as the board of the Orlando nonprofit Collaborative Corner for Exceptional Children. He also volunteers for the Mustard Seed of Central Florida, a nonprofit furniture and clothing bank, in addition to charitable work with "The Monsters in the Morning" team.

Carlos is a first-generation American, born in Flushing, a neighborhood in the borough of Queens, New York to a Peruvian father and Cuban mother. He is one of few Hispanic actors to have been part of both "The Walking Dead" and the Marvel Cinematic Universe, two juggernaut comic book movie franchises.

Carlos has shared his story on “Florida’s Fourth Estate” (WKMG/CBS) with Matt Austin and Ginger Gadsden, “Rise Together” with Dave Hollis, “The Bed Head Chronicles” with Siri Lindley, “Gettin’ Better'" with Ron Funches,” “If I’m Being Honest” with Dan Karaty, “That Sober Guy Podcast,” “Daily Flash/Daily Flash Latino,” “Recovery Rocks” (podcast), “Sci-Fi Talk,” and many other outlets.
